Electra is a junior-level biomedical engineering undergraduate at the Florida Institute of Technology with a 4.0 GPA. She currently acts as president of the Biomedical Engineering Society Student Chapter at Florida Tech and is involved in cardiovascular undergraduate research on small-diameter arteries in Dr. Bashur’s lab. Her career goals involve obtaining a Doctorate in Biomedical Engineering and becoming a professor at a university conducting cell and tissue research in the realm of chronic diseases from an engineering perspective.
